Realistic Ways to Support Brain Health

Let’s talk about the most underrated part of wellness — your brain.
We spend so much time focusing on toning our bodies, eating for glowing skin, or tracking steps… but your brain is the true powerhouse behind every single thing you do — your focus, your mood, your energy, your decision-making, your relationships, even your workouts.
And the truth is, you don’t need a long list of supplements or expensive treatments to support brain health. You just need consistent, realistic habits that nourish your mind and body daily.
Here’s how I personally do it (and how you can too 👇🏽).
1. Start your mornings with
hydration + oxygen
Before your phone. Before your coffee.
Start with a tall glass of lemon water and deep, intentional breathing.
Hydration wakes up the brain, supports circulation, and improves alertness. I like to add a pinch of sea salt or electrolytes — it helps my body absorb water better.
Then I do a few rounds of slow, mindful breathing — in through the nose, out through the mouth. This floods your brain with oxygen and literally wakes up your nervous system in the best way.
🪶 Small shift, big difference.
2. Feed your brain the right nutrients
Your brain is made up of nearly 60% fat — so don’t fear healthy fats.
Some of my favorites:
🥑 Avocado
🐟 Salmon or sardines
🫐 Blueberries (nature’s brain candy)
🥚 Eggs (especially the yolk — hello choline!)
🥜 Walnuts and pumpkin seeds
These foods support memory, focus, and long-term cognitive health.
I personally start my day with collagen coffee + creatine gummies, and I make sure each meal includes **protein
