GLAZED SALMON

Fish is an absolute necessity if what you want is long hair. Salmon is a source of certain vitamins hard to come by with other diets, and which are important boosts for hair growth. So the next time, you are out grocery shopping, make sure you get yourself some seafood. To include fish in your diet try my this glazed salmon recipe.




INGREDIENTS

Extra-virgin olive oil

Soy sauce

Chilli flakes

Lemon Juice

Salt

Salmon fillets, patted dry with a paper towel

Freshly ground black pepper

Garlic, crushed

Lemon, sliced into rounds

Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish


DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and chili flakes.

  2. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat two tablespoons oil. When oil is hot but not smoking, add salmon skin-side up and season with salt and pepper. Cook salmon until deeply golden, about 6 minutes, then flip over and add remaining tablespoon of oil.

  3. Add garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Add the honey mixture and sliced lemons and cook until sauce is reduced by about 1/3. Baste salmon with the sauce.

  4. Garnish with sliced lemon and parsley to serve.
